olive oil collection

Did you know?...

The extra virgin olive oil has almost always its unique aroma and taste and it is never neutral. The olive oil that has neutral taste or very light color is usually processed product and should not be prefered.
The production procedure

Every evening after the collection, the olives are transfered to the oil-factory in sacks with the tracktor.

Fase 1

The sacks are emptied in a special machine, which is used to separate the leaves from the olives. The leaves are thrown away automatically, while the olives are sent to the collector.

Fase 2

The olives are mixed with water, so that they get cleaned and a final separation of olives and leaves takes place. The olives are collected in a common place.

Fase 3

The olives are crashed together with the kernel and the mix is grinded.

Fase 4
The olive is separated from the kernel with a special transparent membrane and the pure oil is sent for further processing.
Fase 5
The final fase of the olive oil production. The extra virgin olive oil is extracted and placed in special oil barrels.
